GRANBURY — Linda Parker, 61, passed away Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, in Granbury.
Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Granbury.
Linda was born June 12, 1953 in Kalispell, Montana. When she was 12 years old, she was put in a full body cast as the result of falling off of a horse and was told she could not walk but recovered and went on to play softball and stick games. Linda loved camp fires, playing bingo, animals and people. She served as a waitress her entire life and always had a big smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Inez Reimers Carter; a sister, Bobbie Jo Gonzalez; brothers, Duane and Dale White; and mother-in-law, Jean Parker.
Survivors: Husband, Gary Parker of Granbury; daughter, Angelic Roberts and husband, T.J.; grandchildren, Damian Bourdon, Martin Schlensker, Thomas Roberts, Jr., Mary Jane Schlensker and Maxine Roberts; sister, Marcia Bocksnick; brother, Doug White; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, David and Marla Gafford; brother-in-law, Gerald Parker; step-children, Eric Parker and Traci Michelle Hamilton; several nieces and nephews.
