Lois F. Smith, 81, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in Rainbow. Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Memorials: Grace Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1224, Glen Rose, TX 76043.
Lois was born Oct. 5, 1935 in Atkins, Ark. to Herbert and Opal Helen Townsley Richardson. She married Kenneth Earl Smith, Sr. on Nov. 20, 1954 in Coy, Ark. Lois loved to play games, especially game night at the church. Rook was her favorite but she never could find anyone who knew how to play (LOL). She loved her kids and grandkids with all her heart. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2013; sisters, Mary Pledger and Melba Brown; and brother, Don Richardson.
Survivors: Son, Kenneth E. Smith, Jr. & wife, Pam of Loving, TX; daughter, Terry Mulcahy of Granbury; grandchildren, Shawna Knowles of Granbury, Kristan Smith of Killeen, Kali Mulcahy of Abilene and Kaci Mulcahy of Memphis, TN; great grandchildren, Brendan Knowles of Granbury and Sydnie Knowles of Granbury and Xavier Lemus; sisters, Jo Rowe of Stuttgart, Ark, Jean Strickland of Greers Ferry, Ark and Paula Hosto of Stuttgart, Ark., and numerous nieces and nephews.
