LONA FORD

March 6, 1957 - September 4, 2013

Lona Williams Ford, 56 of Fort Worth, died, September 4 of a massive stroke. She was born in Fort Collins, Co, March 6, 1957 to James and Anna Williams, and married to Charles Ford on April 13 1996.
Lona was a software analyst, and successful business owner, later in life a full time homemaker. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Tarrant County Medical Reserve Corps.
She was survived by husband of 17 years Charles Ford; step children, Richard Ford of Austin TX; Andrew Ford of Fort Worth; sister Dena Sims of Granbury TX. and nephew, Ellery Randle of Waxahachie, TX.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 14, starting at noon, at the Ford’s home. 3209 Durango Rd, Fort Worth, TX. Please do not send flowers, if you feel the need to give, donations can be made to The Cancer Research Institute, Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics, or Tarrant Area Food Bank.
