AZLE — Louise Heggins “Ms. Lou” Cosby, 68, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Service: 1 p.m. Friday at Aurora Baptist Church.
Interment: Aurora Cemetery.
Ina Louise Heggins was born December 29, 1943, in Prentiss, Mississippi.
“Ms. Lou,” an area resident for 34 years, worked for Tandy Corporation for 18 years. In retirement she was a volunteer with several area veteran’s organizations assisting with benefits and special needs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ina Mae and Lyman Heggins; three brothers; four sisters; and longtime partner, Robert Harper.
Survivors: Her children, Sandy Fuson and husband, Wayne, of Newark, Robert Tucker and wife, Mary, of Boyd, and Michael Cosby; sisters, Mettie Alexander of Delta, Louisiana, Ancie Greer of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Helen Henley of Vicksburg, Mississippi; brothers, Johnnie Heggins of Greenwood, Mississippi, and Billy Heggins of Edwards, Mississippi; and the “love of her heart,” her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
