Lucille Lena Holt passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at her home in Lake Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Wednesday.
The family requests memorials to The American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Lucille was born April 13, 1926, in Fort Cobbs, Oklahoma. They raised seven children in the Lake Worth area where they resided for 55 years. She took great joy in her favorite hobby of crocheting. She loved making blankets and baby booties for friends and family. She took great pride in tailoring clothes for her children. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Holt; a daughter, Sherry Holt Allmon; and a son, Norman Holt.
She is survived by her children, Priscilla Holt Butler of Lake Worth, Judy Holt Timms and husband, Gene, of White Settlement, Carroll Holt of Port Aransas, Charles Holt and wife, Dona, of Irving, Daniel Holt of Minnesota; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.
