GRANBURY — Luke Thomas Urbanovsky, 19, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Granbury. Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Rosary: 7 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be given to a fund being created in Luke’s name. Initial thought is to fund projects with FISH (Freshman Leadership Organization) of College Station at ATM of which Luke was an involved member. Donations can be given to any First National Bank Branch.
Luke was born Oct. 26, 1992 in Fort Worth to Joseph and Connie Lynn Marek Urbanovsky. He graduated in the top ten in his class from Granbury High School in 2011 where he played varsity football. He was in the freshman class at A& M University with a 3.0 grade point average, majoring in chemical engineering. He was a member of the Freshman Leadership Organization and MSC Fish. He loved snowboarding, long boarding and his pup, Bentley. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Vic Urbanovsky and Melvin E. Marek.
