Margaret “Peggy” Earley Button, 66, a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at home surrounded by her family.
Service: “Celebration of Life” will be Thursday, June 29, 2017, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of North Texas.
Peggy was born February 18, 1951 in Portage, Pennsylvania to Ellis B. Foreman and Margaret “Grace” Foreman Schmittle. She spent many years as a PTA volunteer and substitute teacher in her children’s classrooms, and when they became older, she found her true calling as a special education aide in the White Settlement and Eagle Mountain–Saginaw ISD. Peggy was an avid Barbie doll collector who loved traveling, her pets, adult coloring books, all things Willie Nelson, and most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors: Her husband of 7 years, Robert Button; brother, Richard Foreman and wife, Pat; daughters, Monica Woods and husband, Mike; Gail Long and husband, Jeff; Lori Geis and husband, Derrick; son, Lorron Earley and girlfriend, Meagon; grandchildren, Christina Alexander and husband, Austin, Taylor Earley, Blaze Taliaferro, Trinity Woods, Logan Long, Kate Long, and Stockton Geis; great grandson, Hudson Alexander; extended family members, Steven Wilson and Samantha Mooneyham; and many other family and friends.
