GLEN ROSE — Maria Elidia Ibarra, 77, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Glen Rose.
Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Glen Rose. Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ibarra was born May 5, 1936, in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Maria cared deeply for her family and friends and loved cooking and providing for them. She was a devoted Catholic and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Martin Ibarra, and a brother, Santos Pinedo.
Survivors: Husband, Mateo Ibarra, Sr.; children, Vidal Ibarra, Esperanza Sanchez, Merced Ibarra, Ruben Ibarra, Lidia Montellano, Eva Delgado, Dolores Robledo, Ignacio Ibarra, Miguel Ibarra, Oliva Clifton, Elvira Rodriguez, Mateo Ibarra, Jr.; 48 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sisters, Pancha Ibarra and Flor Pascual.
