Marie Antoinette “Toni” Simmons of Granbury passed away peacefully on Friday June 29, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Fort Worth. Her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and a close family friend were by her side.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Granbury. Visitation: 12 to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Flowers sent to Wiley Funeral Home will be donated to local nursing homes.
She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Toni was one of the rare people in this world that touched everyone she met in a special way and she was universally loved by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Originally from McSherrystown, PA, she was a graduate of Delone High School.
Toni is survived by her husband, Vernon Simmons; daughters, Julie and husband Bill Howe, Jodie Price and Teresa Bolding; son, Barry Simmons; five siblings and spouses; seven grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will truly be missed by many and the world is a lesser place without her. Godspeed, “Saint Marie”.
