Jessie Marie Jones Donaghey-Alcala, born June 28, 1928 in Louisville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at her home in Granbury, Texas.
Memorial service was held at Martin’s Funeral Home Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Granbury, Texas. Cremation Service was provided by Martin Funeral Home per her request. She was preceeded in death by her Father, Joseph Daniel Jones and Mother, Emma Harper Jones-Friddle. Former spouse, William Alvin Donaghey, Sons: Earnest Alvin Donaghey, Paul Dean Donaghey. Grandchildren: Deio Christopher Alcala and Stephen Michael Alcala.
Survived by: Former spouse, Martin Justin Alcala of Mesquite, Texas. Daughters: Mollie Ann Donaghey-Gillispie and husband Bob of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Marie Elane Mickel of Albany, New York. Sons: Martin Justin Alcala, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Mesquite, Texas, Fernando Alcala of Oceanside, California. Daughter-in-laws: Sadie Mae Donaghey-Allstop of New Braunfels, Texas, Audra Mae Donaghey of Granbury, Texas and Linda Alcala of Harleton, Texas.
Grandchildren: Eddie Donaghey, Cindy Williams, Dwayne Donaghey, Becky Blanchard, Deianne Benavento, Douglas Alcala and Dustin Alcala. Hillary Bravo, Lindsey Gillispie, Nikki Alcala and Jessica Diane Mickel.
Blessed with numurous great grand-children, neices, nephews and friends.
She is not in a “better” place, she is in the “perfect” place.
