GRANBURY — Marilyn Sue Wood, 73, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 17, 2012 while at her home.
Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Baptist Church. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Memorials: Lakeside Baptist Church building fund.
Marilyn was born March 12, 1939 in Maryville, Tennessee to Floyd and Hazel Runyon Bingham. Her family moved to Odessa in 1948 where she graduated from Odessa High School in 1957.
She married Glen Wood on September 11, 1959. While in Odessa, she and Glen raised their family, were in business together for 35 years and members of Temple Baptist Church for 20 years. In 2003, they moved to Granbury and were active members of Lakeside Baptist Church, serving together most recently on the bereavement committee, serving meals each week and participating in the Agape Sunday school class.
Survivors: Husband, Glen Wood; brother, David Bingham and wife, Marylyn; daughters, Renee and husband, Tim Kramer of Lewisville and Lisa and husband, Chuck Reeves of The Colony; grandchildren, Jason and wife, Jennifer Kramer of Fort Worth, Jared Kramer of Lewisville and Bailey Reeves of The Colony.
