Private Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery
Blanche was born April 7, 1928 to James and Mattie Blasingame in Nocona, Texas.
As a wife and mother, Blanche and her late husband Jim, had several places they called home–Ft. Worth, Hurst, and Richland Hills. They raised their four children in these North Texas towns.
One of Blanche’s greatest joys was cooking for her family and hosting holiday meals. She was a great cook, but her specialty was desserts. Each of her children had a favorite dessert and she never failed to produce it on birthdays and holidays. Blanche was an avid card and domino player, and many evenings were spent with her friends and family playing these games.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Preston Harvison.
Blanche is survived by four children, Mary Jane Donnell, Jimmy Lee Harvison and his wife, Edna, Vicki Lynn Fricks and her husband, David, Billy Wayne Harvison and his wife, Mylla; Grandkids, Wendy, James, Kimberly, J.J., Christy, Shana, Christopher, Lauren, Aimey, Matthew, and Stuart; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
