Mom, was not only my mother, but at 64 years old she is my best friend. She had become my best friend years ago, and losing both is something I had not thought about. She knew things that I never realized she knew. She was right when giving advise to my amazement, she always had a kind soft words when I needed one, and always listened when I needed a listener..... We have talked for hours over the years, even though not in person. Mom always had time for me, and I will miss our time together. The last few times we talked she would say she could not remember all the words to that song, " Do You Know My Jesus " and that she would sing that part when to caregivers when they came into her room. She was so excited when a nurse, and another man told her yes they knew her Jesus! The last time mom and I spoke, we were able to say one more time to each other "I Love You" I miss my mother and my friend, but she is now with Jesus. What could be better for a son to know about his mother and friend!
