Mary Inez Brock

Mary Inez Brock, 89, beloved mother and grandmother, recently of Lake Dallas, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm, Thursday evening, March 31, 2022 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, 504 Holden Street, in Glen Rose.  Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11 am, on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Mary was born on September 28, 1932, in Dallas, Texas to Joe and Lena Watson.  On October 2, 1950, she married Jack Brock and together had 8 children.   She enjoyed outdoor activities including vegetable gardening and working in her yard.  Mary particularly enjoyed cooking and hosting Thanksgiving dinners for her family.   She “never turned anyone away.”  Most of all, Mary cherished time spent with her family – particularly her children and grandchildren and never forgot anyone’s birthday.

Mary is survived by her children, J.B. and wife Deb Brock, Sherry Thomas, Karen and husband Mark Nelson, Donald and wife Hazel Brock, Brenda Ray, Steve and wife Jodi Brock, Ginger and husband Dennis Craig, and T.J. and wife Michelle Brock; and by her grandchildren, Kelly, Chris, Pamela, Amy, Ray Ray, Jennifer, Stacy, Lisa, Randy, Blake, Curtis, Casey, Aaron, Ashley, Chad, Kelsey, and Madelyn; and by numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brock.
