Matthew “Matt” Aaron McDaniel, 30, passed away on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, at his home in Granbury, TX.
Matt was born February 13, 1991, in Fort Worth, TX, to Mark and Marsha (DeClercq) McDaniel. He loved the outdoors, loved to ride his bike, hunted and fished, whenever he could. Matt was affiliated with the American Legion Post #491 in Granbury, and was Chaplain for the Sons of the American Legion #491. He was also a big supporter of and volunteered with the Booze Fighters M.C.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Marjorie DeClercq of Milbank, SD; and Bill and Betty McDaniel of Duncan, OK.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Marsha McDaniel; brothers, Michael McDaniel, Marc McDaniel/Haylee Grubbs, and Brandon McDaniel/Chastine Edwards; his beloved niece Allison McDaniel; several aunts and uncles, and extended family; and his many friends whom he considered family.
Visitation will be from 9am. to 10:30am., Saturday, December 11th, 2021, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 E US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX. Funeral services will start at 10:30am. following the visitation, at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a public Celebration of Matt’s Life held at 2pm., Sunday, December 12th, 2021, at the American Legion Post #491, 3409 Davis Road, Granbury, TX.
Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 1pm., Monday, December 13th, 2021, at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery, 1910 Cypress Avenue, Duncan, OK. with the Comanche Funeral Home, 203 Church Ave, Comanche, OK.
