Mattie Taylor

GRANBURY — Mattie Allean Taylor, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, in Mansfield.
Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church in Granbury.

Mattie was born May 20, 1924 in Cumby to Ollie and Georgia Brown Vaughn. She loved gardening, always had beautiful flower beds and house plants, even after she could no longer do the work herself, thanks to her wonderful caregivers Sherry, Wanda and Katie. Mattie sewed all of her life for family, friends and church projects. She loved line dancing at the senior’s center. She was preceded in death by siblings, Aletrice Aven, Ola Faye Vaughn, Mae Speed, Ralph Vaughn, Dean Vaughn, James Vaughn, DJ Vaughn, Nolan Vaughn.

Survivors: Brother, Gearl Vaughn of Magnolia, Tx; sister Sue Smith, Campbell, Tx; son, Michael Edward Taylor and wife, Vickie of Converse, Tx; daughter, Susan Chiusano and husband, Miguel of Mansfield, Tx.; grandchildren, Jeremy Dwain Taylor and wife, Eva of Abilene, Tx; Stephen Michael Taylor of Birmingham, Alabama; Jonathan Bradley Chiusano and wife, Elizabeth of Granbury, Kelsey Marie Gieger and husband, Andrew of Burleson, Tx.; great grandchildren, Jacob Dwain Taylor, Casey Marie Taylor, Erica Brook Taylor.
