GRANBURY — Maureen Richards, 71, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, in Granbury.
Memorial service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at the Granbury First Christian Church.
Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Maureen was born Feb. 5, 1941, in Norwalk, Conn., to Francis John O’Sullivan and Dorothy Louise Finnegan O’Sullivan. She married Doug Richards in 1972. She graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas in 1959 and from SMU in 1963 with a BA Degree in Secondary Education. Maureen worked for Delta Airlines from 1966 to 1994 and was the Senior Customer Service Agent. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be clearly missed by everyone who knew her. She was the most unselfish person you will have met. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Doug Richards; sister, Kathleen O’Sullivan; children, Cindy McRay, Charles Richards and wife, Amy, Mark Richards and wife, Sandra; grandchildren, Amy Beck and husband, Joe, Laci Moore, Colby Richards, Tiffany Moore, Styl Richards, Justin McRay, Kinsey Richards, Dylan McRay, Sarah Richards, Brandon Richards; and great grandson, Kason Beck.

Doug, You and Maureen have always been two of my favorite people. I have missed getting to visit with you all at least once a year (tax time). I don't have to tell you what a special person Maureen was but over the last year she was such a comfort and support for me as I faced breast cancer. I have so many good memories of such a beautiful lady as far back as the old hanger days. You have my deepest sympathy.

One of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. She was a joy and will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.
