Graveside Service

Sidney Max Morrison, 85, passed away January 16 in Tolar, TX. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, TX. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2 pm at Rock Church Cemetery in Tolar, TX.

 

Max, as he was known to by everyone, was born December 16, 1935 to Sid and Susie (McInroe) Morrison and was raised in Tolar. He was married to Eva “Sis” Morrison for 59 years. There was nothing more he loved more than his family, and was always proud when he spoke about them. He always had a story and a piece of Tolar history to share to anyone who would listen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sid and Susie (McInroe) Morrison; sister Johnnie Mitchell; brother Wayne Morrison.

He is survived by his wife, Eva “Sis” Morrison of Tolar; Daughter Mary Morrison, Arlington; Son John Morrison (Alecia), Tolar; Grandson Coleman Morrison, Tolar; multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
