Max was always a caring man to me and my husband and girls! Whether it was nodding his head even when he didn’t understand during a dinner when I was in college because I spoke to fast , which he in turn would ask my Neenie “what did she said, I didn’t understand a word”. He always greeted me with a hug and kiss and always told me bye. I will miss his nudging me in the kitchen to talk amongst all the loud noise going on around us with the family. Max could be a hard man to some, but honestly I never had that side given to me, he was a straight shooter and I personally appreciate and respect that. I loved hearing that they found a church that he loved and he found and grew in his walk with the Lord! Such a blessing!! Max we will miss you, but we will be with you again one day and for that I am forever grateful! Enjoy that perfect body and the fingers that don’t hurt while you are walking the streets of gold praising God in Paradise!

My condolences to Max's family! I had the privilege of working with Max on a few prison projects as Union Ironworkers in the late 80's early 90's. Max was very knowledgeable about the industry and I was fortunate to learn from him. He was fun to share time with, a good man, father and mentor. He will be missed! He was one of my best friends and appreciate what he did for our family. Thank you Brother Max and RIP! Chuck & Diane Williams Crescent City, CA
