Melba was born on November 5, 1930 in Wylie, Texas to Marion and May Logan. She married the love of her life, Royce, on October 13, 1947. They were married 26 years before Royce passed away in 1973. Melba was kind loving and an advocate for animals. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Stanford, Texas. Melba was preceded in death by her husband: Royce L. Farr; parents: Marion and May Logan and brother: Donald Ray Logan.
Melba is survived by her son: Gary Farr & wife Susan; grandchildren: Chris Farr & wife Staci, Angela Griffin & husband Ryan, Jeff Farr & wife Britney; great- grandchildren: Emily, Braden, Rebekah and Tyler; sister: Peggy Robinson.
