Melba Joyce Buckelew Hughes, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2020 at the age of 78.

Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Melba was born in Paris, Texas, and lived most of her life in Fort Worth. She was a hairdresser by trade, but gardening was her true passion. God gifted Melba with bringing beauty to everything she touched, from her home, to her garden, to her work. She was a bright light to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hughes.

Melba is survived by her sons Paul and Roger, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren
