Andrea "Annie" Spillman Rasco left a message on September 21, 2020:
I am so very sad to hear of the loss of this sweet lady. Aunt Melrie was my Papa Bill's sister and was always an extremely lovely, genuine, joyful person to be around. I remember visiting her, Uncle Rudy and Rudy Louis at the river and it being some of my favorite memories. We would catch baby softshells on the banks of the Brazos, swim in and tube down the river and Uncle Rudy and Aunt Melrie would share their homemade pickles with us. I loved them very much even though we didn't get to see them often. They were such wonderful, happy people. God bless them in rest and bless all of their family who will miss them now. Aunt Melrie, you were always one of my favorite people.
