My deepest sympathies to the family. Coach Curran was a great influence to me, my family, and so many students/athletes. He was a great motivator, could always make you laugh, and made you realize your full potential. I remember him fondly calling me "Weezer" and my brother "That boy". He will be greatly missed!

Coach Curran was one of the most influential people in my life. He took me from a city girl that could barely dribble a ball to a basketball player who absolutely loved the game! He challenged me, made me laugh, and taught me confidence. He even convinced me to run cross country one year! _ He pushed me and I loves him for it. God has gained a special angel. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Great coach. Much respect for this man. As the coach of a county and district rival to the team I played for, he always found time to encourage me and let me know something positive about my game. I'll never forget the times I played against Coach Curran.

Scott, Betty and All Family, I wanted to send my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Coach. When I look back on the moments in my coaching career and life-long friendships, I feel so fortunate to have gotten to know you guys. From the first time I met Coach when he was hired at Brewer, I felt as if I had known him my entire life. He just reminded me of so many good people I have come across during my younger days. That coaching time we had together with Scott as my assistant as Mike as the head girls basketball Coach is just priceless. I always felt we came together for a bigger reason than just basketball. And I am sure everywhere Coach worked that this feeling I have was there too. We (I) love you all. Kenny E. Williams

We were blessed to have Peep come into our lives after Shelly, married my brother, Danny. Peep was quiet and still, like a strong oak to hold onto when the wind and storms come. I quickly learned about the mischievousness side he hid behind his quiet grin. He'd sit quietly on the porch only to trip me when I walked by, or pull on my shirt sleeve or pinch my arm. I would look back at him as he sat quietly, rocking....with that grin. I only saw tears once, at the birth of Cole. Peep had a way of making people feel like he belonged to us and us to him. He has quietly drifted out our lives just as he came into them. We will have a constant reminder of his steady strength and mischievousness grin in Cole, with his sideways grin, cutting his eyes our way. We love you Peep, now and always.- Sissie
