Michael Glenn Thrasher, 56, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014, at his home in the arms of his wife, his daughter, and surrounded by his family.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jim Edwards of New Hope Baptist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Memorial gifts may be made to Cyndi Thrasher at Prosperity Bank, 608 Boyd Road, Azle, Texas 76020.Michael Glenn Thrasher was born August 6, 1957, in Beaumont and had been an Azle resident for 28 years. He was a flooring installer for 25 years and had been a truck driver for the last eight years.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dub and Maybelle Biggerstaff, Grady and Ruby Thrasher; and father-in-law, Billy Glenn Dobbs Sr.He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Danyelle Thrasher; grandchildren, Hayden Grant Shearman and Iriey Autumn Miller; father, Bill Thrasher and wife, Jeanne; mother, Billye Skaggs and husband, W.A.; mother-in-law, Jarvis Admire and husband, Larry; sister, Diana Norris and husband, Ron; brother-in-law, Billy Dobbs and wife, Debbie; sister-in-law, Sherry Starkey and husband, Fred. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
