Michael was born June 14, 1953 in North Richland Hills, Texas to Robert Smith Jr. and Patricia Lea Jenkins Smith. He married Frances Jane Houston on May 2, 1999 in Fort Worth. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was an automotive salesman. He was a member of the Episcopalian Church. Michael loved fishing and golf and was an animal lover. He was a peace maker and loved spending time with his family, the greatest Grandpa ever.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Watson; daughter, Samantha Smith; father, J.K. Watson; and grandson Abraham Akins.
Survivors: Wife Fran Smith; daughter Nicole Faulk; stepsons Jake Akins (Whitney) and William Akins (Jeniffer); grandchildren Kaleb Clayton, Cole Akins, Reed Akins, Taylor Akins, Colton Smith, Jude Akins and Willa Akins; and brother Ronald Wayne Smith.
