Miguel and Lydia lived on S. Clark St. in New Orleans right behind my house. Miguel painted my house with 3 coats of paint after Hurricane Katrina when he was 82! He was always a polite, loving, respectful, caring, sensitive man. Lydia was the light of his life!

I met Miguel in 2006 through my wife and Anais which was his niece. He was a happy man that welcomed me into their family. My heart hurts for his family and friends that will miss him as he passed to the next life. It was an honor to sit with him and enjoy a meal as we talked about work and raising families. Just another Inspirational man in my life that’s help me to become a better person. I will miss you Miguel until we cross paths again.
