Mike was born on September 9, 1965 in Hico, Texas to Eddie and Linda Rustin Burns. Mike loved helping people. He was kind hearted and thoughtful of others. He was close to God and very knowledgeable about the Bible. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Mike is preceded in death by his Mother, Linda, Grandfather, Earl, and Grandparents, W.D. & Margaret Rustin.

Mike is survived by: Wife, Elena Burns, Stepchildren, Vincent, Tanna and Greg Dillard, and Priscilla, Son, Brian Burns, Father, Eddie, Brothers: Rick and Ann Burns and Brad Burns, Grandmother, Verbie Burns, Aunts: Sara and Owen, and Mary and Joe, Several cousins, nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Numerous friends, Brothers-in-law: Juan, Richard, Celestino, Ysidro, Severo, David, Charlie and Linda, and Sisters-in-law: Mary & Pete, Helen, Minga and David.
