GRANBURY — Mildred Jones, 84, passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 in Fort Worth. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Mildred was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Paluxy to Luther and Vada Kimmel Driskill. She married Pat Jones, Jr. on Feb. 11, 1948 in Granbury. He passed away June 4, 2003. Mildred retired from Brazos County Electric Company and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Granbury Church of Christ. She had lived in Granbury since 1989 and was a former resident of Hearne for 30 years.

Survivors: Son, Richard and wife, Robbie Jones of Amarillo; daughter, Patsy and husband, Dick Parker of Arlington; grandchildren, Charlyn, Trisha, Brandon, Ashley, Amy, Melissa, Mercedes, Kristi and Koko; 18 great grandchildren; brother, L.W. Driskill of Kentucky; sisters, Maris Jean Willingham of Port Lavaca and Louetta Faulkner of Burleson; and several nieces and nephews.
