Mitzi Miller Garcia, 68, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, July 13, 2018, First Baptist Church, Glen Rose, Interment: Squaw Creek Cemetery, Visitation: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Friday, First Baptist Church, Glen Rose.
Mitzi was born on July 19, 1949 in Glen Rose, Texas to Kenneth and Eugenia Miller. She loved spending time with her grandchildren in Missouri. She was an avid reader and enjoyed driving through the countryside of Glen Rose with her husband, Tony, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Mitzi retired from the healthcare industry where she was an executive assistant in the DFW area for over 30 years. She had recently moved back to her hometown in Glen Rose. Mitzi was an active member of First Baptist Church, Glen Rose. She loved her Sunday School class and enjoyed participating in the Women’s Missionary Union.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Barry Miller.
Mitzi is survived by her husband: Tony Garcia of Glen Rose, son: Coby Boyd and wife Leslie of St. Charles, Missouri, grandchildren: Andrew and wife Kaila, Abigail, Allison, Anna, Angela and husband Noah, and Ashlynn, great-grandchildren: Nolan, Sawyer, and Luanna, sisters: Kenna Kay Nuckols of Glen Rose, and Mina Douglas of Glen Rose, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
