Mona Reeves Scott passed away June 9, 2022, at the age of 92. She was born in Decatur, TX on June 26, 1929, to Reba Faye Waddill and Raymond Reeves. Mona graduated from Bridgeport high school in 1946. She married Donald Scott in 1954 and had 3 children, Vickii, Chip, and John. They moved to the community of Temple Hall in 1968 where she lived until the time of her death. Mona was a member of Temple Hall United Methodist church.

 

She retired from the insurance business after more than 40 years of service. She loved to travel, never missed a grandchild’s ballgame, and was an avid poker player.

 

Mona is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Scott, brother Ralph Reeves, daughter Vickii Harrell, son John Scott, and grandson Buck Mitchell.

 

She is survived by her son Chip Scott & wife Sharon, granddaughter Summer Scott, grandson Tyler Scott & wife Ashley, granddaughter Jillian Harrod, brother William R Reeves, sister Burton Eisen, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews, and many friends.
