I was privileged to know Gene Grant and call him my friend for the last 43 years. Amazing person. Great lawyer. Outstanding magistrate judge. He served the Tarrant County criminal justice system in a faithful and profound way for almost three decades.. Always a consummate gentleman. He treated every one who ever came before him with absolute class and dignity. A man's man. More importantly, a lasting and meaningful friend to many. Gene was always the same. Never flustered. Always the calm in the midst of a storm. Steady as a rock. Gene Grant will be missed. I am so proud to have known him and called him my friend. Well done good and faithful servant!
