Nancy Camille Gibson, 82, passed away in Granbury, Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Nancy was born January 6, 1936 in Marbell, Arkansas to R. W. and Laura Slaughter. She married Dave Gibson in Ohio in 1974. They met several times and Dave had to pursue her to gain her interest. They were always together from that point on; they worked together, traveled the world and all the continental states. Nancy was a guide at Fossil Rim and Dave was the tour driver. They took all their children on an Alaskan cruise. Nancy enjoyed sewing, and making jewelry and quilts. She liked making personalized Christmas ornaments every year. Nancy was preceded in death by her sons, David Gibson, Jr., Donald James Gibson, and Daniel Gibson.
Survivors: loving husband, Dave Gibson; children, Bill Booth and wife Mary, Laurel Cornell and husband Gary, Lisa Schneider; ten grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; brother, W.H. “Sonny” Slaughter and wife Kay.
