To my precious mom. I love you with all my heart. You will be loved always and greatly missed and I feel very fortunate that I had you in my life for this long. I am very grateful that you had good health up to your passing and didn't have to suffer. You have been a wonderful mother all your life. I have so many wonderful memories from my life with you, that I will always cherish. I know that you are in heaven now with dad and all the people you loved and missed, and you are happy. I know I will be with you again someday. I saw you today and it brings my heart comfort because you looked so peaceful and I know you are with Jesus. Grandma,
I will miss you so much and I'm so very thankful for our visit last month with you. I have so many great memories of you growing up. We were all so excited when you would come to town. I remember one night when you were in town and I was about fourteen and we decided to go to the store and I begged you to let me drive and you actually let me! You kept saying "oh my, I can't believe I'm doing this, your mom would be mad at me!" We laughed and I drove by all my friends houses along the way and our store trip ended up being a two hour event! I remember you would always out on your make up and one day you put on your blush and called it rouge and my friend and I didn't know what you were talking about because we always heard the term blush, we all laughed including you. I wish we could've seen you more these last few years, but I'm so thankful for all our wonderful memories and I'm so happy you aren't in pain anymore. I love you so much!

I'll miss you always, Grandma! I remember waiting for you to arrive after driving from Colorado. You had your station wagon loaded down and all kinds of little things for us you had picked up along the way. For the longest time, I always knew we would take you to eat at Panchos because you loved it so much. You have always been so kind, caring, funny, and definitely one-of-a-kind. You were always hilarious and would always make us laugh. I loved listening to all of your life stories. I remember when I was in Elementary school and you and my mom ate lunch with me one day. Y'all were cracking up because you both thought mom won the lottery that morning, but the ticket was just a ticket showing the winning numbers! You talked about that each time you came for years after that. Mom looks just like you do when she laughs.. . I'm so sad that you are no longer here, but happy that you are at peace and with Grandpa. You will be missed and loved always!

I had the wonderful privilege of being with Marie when she asked Jesus into her heart to save her and become her LORD and SAVIOR. She will forever be loved and missed.
