Narrel Teague Traynham, 84, a lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her home.
Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Ash Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Ron Ebert will officiate. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Narrel Marie Teague was born March 8, 1928, in Fort Worth. She graduated as valedictorian from Diamond Hill High School, Class of 1944. Narrel married James Travis Traynham on March 8, 1945, in Fort Worth. She owned and operated Wishing Well Collectibles on Camp Bowie Boulevard in the Fort Worth Arts District for 35 years. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Lakeside where she played the organ for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis, on Aug. 22, 2012; her parents, Dave and Gladys Teague; and sister, Davene Mecewitz.
Survivors include her children, Mark Traynham and wife, Elaine, Lanelle O’Neill and husband, Kenneth, Paula Taylor and husband, Gaylon, and Linda Traynham Matthews; siblings, Joe Teague and wife, Bobbie, Neil Teague and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob, K.C., Patrick, Liz, Allison, Mason, Parker, Tori and Bea; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, Shelby Benton and Joella Williams; and many other extended family members.
