We’re coming up on 3 years since you’ve been gone. Although you haven’t been a part of my life for a long time, it saddens me to know our daughter doesn’t have you here anymore. You left behind 2 beautiful daughters and a beautiful family. A wife that loved you, parents who loved you, and numerous friends and family. I pray heavily that your soul is at peace and that your loved ones find peace and comfort with you being gone. I can’t tell you enough how amazing and precious our daughter is. I thank you constantly for giving me such a beautiful part of you. I pray you are watching over both your daughters and keeping them safe. This world can be so ugly and hateful and I pray our daughter is always protected and safe. Rest peacefully and God bless.

Nick I am still trying to process all of this. You were my soul mate and best friend. I miss you dearly and the house isn't the same without you. The girls miss you and we are trying to pick up the pieces. I loved you the minute I met you and I know you felt the same because we were inseparable from that moment on. We talked about forever, but 11 years is not forever. We had a crazy life together, but nothing could come between us. Us against the world as we said. I will see you in heaven.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Oh, my precious Nick. I’m not ready to say goodbye to you, nor will I ever be. So I’ll just repeat myself, because that’s what moms do, and tell you that I’m the most blessed woman on earth having you and DJ as sons. God must love me an awful lot to be allowed to share my life with such amazing kids. Nick, your irrepressible spirt could never be tamed. You are free from heartache and pain. One sweet day, so will we be. I love you, darling, sweet dreams, love, Mom

My prayers are with the entire Lyons family. My experience with Nick was his love for Tabitha and their relationship. He adored his precious little family. I shared a couple of recipes with Nick and he loved to make it for them. He was very funny and always made me feel welcome. He will be missed so very much. My prayers are with Tabitha, Maylee, Randee and Alexa. My hope is that Tabitha and the girls will find peace. I will help them and pray for them each and every day. Bless the family as they go through this time. My love to each of them.

I WORKED WITH NICK FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HE WAS ALWAYS HELPFUL AND SHARED A WEALTH OF HIS KNOWLEDGE WITH ME, BUT MOSTLY HE MADE ME LAUGH. HE TOLD SOME OF THE GREATEST STORIES AND TALES OF REPO'ING CARS. HE WAS A BRIGHT LIGHT. HE LOVED HIS FAMILY AND GROWING THE HOTTEST PEPPERS IN TEXAS. I WILL MISS MY FREE BAG. MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU ALL!

A prayer for Nick O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our brother Nick. We thank you for giving him to us, his family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Leslie, Dony, and all. There are no words I can say to make you feel no pain. I loved the obit. It was written very well with attention to all the many great qualities Nic had. Men who love to cook for other are of a special breed not like any other. Such a great talent. I’m sure all his other attributes were of the same great quality. Remembering all these can be difficult at times, but these memories will be the key to never forget the great and wonderful man you two raised. Please remember he is at total peace and you will be rejoined with him and I’ll bet he’ll have a big pot of his chili waiting just how you. I cry for you and with you. I pray God to give you comfort in this loss and emptiness of the void you now have. I will continue to pray for you with every pray. May God give you peace. Loves and hugs sent to you from me.
