Norma Jean Smith, 70, passed away, Wednesday, August 29, 2018. The family will be having private services at a later date.

Norma was born July 23, 1948 in Red Oak, Iowa, to Janice (Isaccson) and Leroy West. Norma was known to be a little wild, flower child in her younger days.
Norma was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. In September of 1999, she and Doug married in Creston, Iowa. Norma was family oriented and loved her grandbabies. She was larger than life and had a great personality. Some of her favorite things to do were swimming, crocheting and barrel racing. She loved horses. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandchild: Kasey Adamson.

Norma is survived by her husband of 39 years: Doug Smith; children: Leslie McKnight and husband Brian, Cheney Nolan and husband William, John Burgoyne and wife Tiffany, Anthony Burgoyne and wife Danielle; grandchildren: Hannah and Holly Adamson; great- grandchildren: Evelyn and Hudson Burgoyne; brother: Darwin West and wife June; sister: Nancy Abbott and husband Danny and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
