Opal Laverne Thurman, 89, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Lubbock City Cemetery. Opal was born September 6, 1926 in Quanah to Fredrick Franklin and Saletia Ophelia Fain.
