Pat Hornsby, 67, of Lipan, passed away Saturday, May 18, with her children by her side. Raised in Fort Worth by her late parents, Earl and Leslie Dawson, Pat graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1969.

She married her true love, Ken Hornsby, in 1981. They relocated to Cresson where they owned a convenience store.

The family moved a final time to the Lipan area and opened a cafe. Pat loved her job because she got to meet so many people who would become lifelong friends.

Pat is survived by her sisters, Cherie Williams and Debbie Wilbur, brother, Larry Dawson, son, Matt Price, and her daughter, Jennifer Price Rasmussen.

She was blessed with grandchildren that she adored: Grayson Green, Leslie Price, and Jacob Rasmussen.

Visitation will be at Wiley Funeral Home in Lipan on Tuesday, May 21, from 5-7. Funeral services will be held at the Lipan First Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 22, at 2, followed by her burial at Bishop Cemetery.
