GLEN ROSE — Patricia Lee Cox Alford, 58, was called home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on October 11, 2011.
Funeral: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the Glen Rose First Baptist Church. Burial: Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.

Patricia was born Jan. 1, 1953, in Hico, to William Lewis and Cora Lee Rice Cox. Patricia grew up in Carlton, Texas and graduated valedictorian of Hico High School. In 1974 she earned a BS in Biology from Tarleton State University and in 1975 received a certificate as a licensed physical therapist from the University of Texas Health Science Center. She worked as a physical therapist for 25 years in various facilities including Walls Regional Hospital in Cleburne, Stephenville hospital and Glen Rose Medical Center. Patricia had a devotion to her family and friends and planned many family reunions. She loved animals, especially her dog CJ, birds of all types, in particular, humming birds.
