Patsy worked as a nurse for Dr. Parchman in Paris for over 18 years.
Patsy loved people in general, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving, caring and extremely strong woman who will be dearly missed by all.
Patsy was preceded in death by her spouse, John William Pomroy; her parents, J.T. and Lillie Scott; her sister, Dorothy Briggs; her brother-in-law, Dwayne Garrison; and in-laws, Houston and Ethel Pomroy.
The family of Patsy Pomroy wishes to thank the Austin Cancer Center and Odyssey Hospice for their support during this time. We would also like to thank her sister Peggy Garrison for staying with us throughout this battle and to all of our family and friends for their prayers and support.
Patsy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Starla and Trevor Peninger; her grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Peninger; sisters, Lillian Gray and Peggy Garrison; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and many other family and friends.
