Patricia “Suzi” Lewis

Suzi Lewis, 80, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2022.  Funeral Services are as follow:  1:00 p.m. Monday October 10, 2022, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury; Visitation:  3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday October 9, 2022 Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury; Interment:  Acton Cemetery.

Suzi was born on June 7, 1942 in Birmingham, Alabama to parents Richard & Lois Thomsen.

She Graduated from Adamson High School in Dallas, Texas.  A graduate of UNT College, where she met her husband, George Glenn Lewis, in bowling class. George liked how she wiggled on her “bowling approach.”

Suzi & George were married, December 21, 1962 in Denton, Texas. Together they raised 3 beautiful children in Midlothian, Texas.  As a family they spent countless hours on the lake.

She was known in Granbury for several years for being Top Producing Realtor. Suzi decided to get her realtor’s license because their realtor was taking too long to sell their house in Midlothian. The family was moving to Lake Granbury.

Suzi was a natural salesperson (taught early by her dad in the furniture business). She was very charismatic and always put family first.

Suzi was also known for her quote on billboard advertising; “Don’t snooze, see Suz.” She also served as Charter member of Leadership Granbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents:  Richard & Lois Thomsen; brothers: Richard Wayne Thomsen & Steven Edward Thomsen; and niece:  Katherine Michelle Netherland.

Suzi is survived by her husband of 60 years:  George Glenn Lewis; daughter:  Karen Hinton; son:  Greg Lewis; daughter:  Kym Strange; and grandchildren:  Tristan Hinton, Hunter Hinton & Amber Hooks. She will be greatly missed.
