Patsy Wylodene Brown (Dene) Blaylock

Patsy Wylodene Brown Blaylock (Dene), 89, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, First Baptist Church of Thorp Spring with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.

Dene was born July 16, 1932 in Vienna, Georgia to Lucille Draughon and James T. Brown. She graduated from Perry, Georgia High School in 1949. Later she moved to Hobbs, NM where she was the office manager for an oil field construction company for many years.

Her passion for many, many years was collecting and selling vintage textiles the world over through her online business. She collected antiques and vintage clothing and did volunteer fashion shows for Goodwill Industries.

She loved being a Mother to her children.

Dene was preceded in death by her son Robert Dale Blaylock, Jr. (Bobby), her parents Lucille and James Brown, four brothers and one sister.

Dene is survived by her husband of 54 years Robert D. “Bob” Blaylock, daughter Patti Hay and husband Steve.
