Patty Lou Herriage, 76, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Leonard Memorial Chapel at First United Methodist Church, 801 W. Fifth St., Fort Worth.
Patty was born May 22, 1939, in Miami, Oklahoma. She moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where she began her career at Phillips Petroleum Co. She and her husband, Floyd, were married February 15, 1964. They moved to Tulsa and had two daughters, Leslie and Whitney. Patty continued her career, eventually becoming manager of training and development at T.D. Williamson Inc. and then at Nabisco Inc. Patty was involved with the Tulsa Chapter of the United Way and with Professional Secretaries International, and she volunteered at a local hospice. She was a leader and role model for women, helping to pave the way for other women to advance their careers in corporate settings. Patty and Floyd moved to Fort Worth in October 2005.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Floyd Herriage; daughters, Leslie McGee and husband, Leon, and Whitney Herriage and husband, Brian DuPont; and granddaughters Price and Francie Herriage-Wilson.
