Paul Robert Galloway, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Wed. November 23, 2016 at the age of 86.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 at Holly Hills Memorial Park, Hwy. 51 North, Granbury, TX. Pastor Jason Turbeville will officiate along with the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guard.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Martin’s Funeral Home, 100 So. Morgan St., Granbury, Tx.
Paul was born on September 14, 1930 in Zolfo Springs, Florida to John Patrick Galloway and Lorena Blackstock. He married Bonnie Faye Howard on Oct. 12, 1950 in Weatherford, TX and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1951, serving in Korea. Paul spent many years working in the transportation Industry with McLean Transportation and Sullivan Transfer.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Kay Steel and nine brothers. Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bonnie Galloway and children, Gayle Hightower (Johnny) of Canton, Tx., Dayle Galloway (Judy) of Yakima, WA, Debbi Moseley of Denton, Tx., and son-in-law, Acey Steel of Granbury. Paul also leaves behind his sister, Kay Smith of Austin, TX.
He is affectionately known as “Papa” to his ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
