Uncle Bud was such an amazing, sweet, kind hearted man. I am blessed to have known him. He was very wise, witty and funny! We had many laughs, hugs, kisses and tears. Forever one of my favorite family members. My heart aches for his passing but I'm so happy he is no longer in pain and he's with aunt Claudette now. He loves my babies so very much. Always blowing them kisses and spending time with them no matter how crazy they were. He is by far a treasure and I'm so thankful I knew him. Words cannot express how much you mean to me and my family Uncle Bud. We love you so very much and always say a prayer and blow a kiss to you every night. I love and miss you so very much. You've changed my world as well as my children's. Forever and a day uncle Bud. Until we meet again, give heaven some hell.

Uncle Bud had so much knowledge of things and he spent many hours telling us about his life from the time he was a little boy until his time he had left with us. He was such a hard working husband and father for his family that while he was working he missed out spending as much time as he would have liked with his family. He felt it was his place to work as much as he could to provide for his kids and wife to make sure they wanted for nothing. He said his one regret was not being able to be there more as he feels that he missed out on so much of his time with his family, but felt it was his duty to them to work as much as he could to make them happy. In his last year's without Aunt Claudette he was a part of my kids and grandkids lives and was able to learn what he missed out on. He was so loved by me and his great nieces and nephews and well as his great great niece's and nephews. We went to every Whitney Wild Cats football games, even the out of town ones. He would drive to Hillsboro where I would meet him and we would drive someone 1&1/2 hours to ask away game, or we would meet at the Whitney football game in Whitney and he would save me a seat. We had our football bag that contained binoculars for both of us, seat pads, gloves and scarfs and blankets. This was the highlight of the week during football season. He also taught me a little about politics and history of the USA that I never took the time when I was younger to pay attention to. He helped to fill a void in my heart as well. I am so lucky that I took the time to listen to him as he enriched my life more than I was aware could be more enriched than it already was. I hope all will take the time to spend listening to their elders for they have a lot to offer us as well as for a good they may have. We live you Uncle Bud, till we meet again in heaven. Love Debbie
