Celebration of Life 

  Peggy Ann James flew into the heavens on Friday July 15, 2022. Peggy was born on March 1, 1949, in West Monroe, Louisiana to Rose Mae and Alfred Eliase Oglesby. She married Gary James on October 12, 1968, they shared 54 beautiful years together.

 

She dedicated her life to raising her family. Never passing judgement on anyone and loving them with her whole heart.

 

After retirement, Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.

 

Peggy James is survived by her husband Gary Loyd James, her two daughters, Amber Rae Barnett, and Jennifer Lea Ann Oravetz, three grandkids, KayLee LaRae Williams, Hunter Alexander Horn, and Chandra Lynn Horn-Lutsko, and two great grandchildren Delilah and Matthew. Sisters La Donna, Andrea, Leisa, Sharon, and Brenda.

 

She is preceded in death by Father Alfred Oglesby, Mother Rose Mae Miller, sister Janice Caison and brother Alfred Oglesby Jr.

 

Celebration of Life will be held at 11am, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury, Texas.
