Tolar — Peggy Woodard Sprinkle, 90, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 in Arlington. Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Tolar Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Memorials: First Baptist Church of Everman.
Peggy was born Feb. 8, 1922 in Dallas to Guy Robert and Margaret Lewis Woodard. She retired as a secretary from the Corps of Engineers after 40 years of service. She was a volunteer with Huguley Auxiliary and the Everman Library. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Everman for many years. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Guy Raymond and brother-in-law, William T. Covey.
Survivors: Sons, Andy and wife, Leslie Sprinkle of Arlington and Tim Sprinkle and Delaine Day of Granbury; grandchildren, Anna, William, Grace, Alyssa and Christine; sister, Jeanne Covey; sister-in-law, Nancy Newman; many nieces and nephews.
