Fort Worth, TX – Perry “Wayne” Hart, Papa to all, 72, went to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, July 24, 2020 after suffering from Pulmonary Fibrosis and double pneumonia.
Wayne was born in his Grandfather Fitzwater’s home on a hill in Clay County, West Virginia August 18, 1947 to Perry William and Iva Josephine (Fitzwater) Hart. He was the second of three children.
Wayne was the most kind and non-judgmental man, husband, father, grandfather and friend we could ever have been blessed to have in our lives. He has left us with amazing memories of love and support. He showed us what it means to be a true Christian father and husband. He set an example for his daughters and son.
Wayne graduated from Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington, Texas. He served in several churches before finding his home church at Saginaw Park Baptist Church in Saginaw Texas.
Wayne worked for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) where he retired from in 2005 after serving Texas by building safe roads and bridges for over 30 years.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Jo Hart and his sister, Paula Ann (Hart) Smith.
Survivors: Wife, Letha; daughter, Betsy Gillum and husband, Carl of Azle, TX; daughter, Marci Spaulding and her husband, Nick of Azle, Tx; son, Mark Galvin and his wife, Jennifer of Lima, Ohio; daughter, Kimberly Yingling and her husband, Wayne of Fort Worth, Tx; daughter, Robin Ferreira and her husband Anthony of Springtown, Tx. As well as with 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. His brother Danny Hart and his wife, Vicki. Plus numerous uncles,aunts, nieces, and nephews.
