GRANBURY — Perry M. Stewart, 80, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Granbury First Baptist Church. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Memorials: American Cancer Society.
Mr. Stewart was born Jan. 12, 1932, in Abilene, Texas, to Leonard and Dora Mae Canteuson Stewart. He married Dorothy Green, July 3, 1957, in Buffalo Gap, Texas. He was a member of Granbury First Baptist Church. Perry and Dorothy moved to Granbury in 1960 and opened Stewart’s Humble station. The business closed as Stewart’s Exxon in May of 1990.
Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Stewart of Granbury; son, Greg Stewart and wife, Debbie, of Granbury; daughters, Gwen Chick and husband, Dan, of Aledo, Glenda McBroom and husband, Chris, of Granbury, Geneva McGinnis and husband, Fred, of Granbury; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Stewart and wife, Ester, of Buffalo Gap, Texas.
