Phyllis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 5, 1932 and adopted by Walter and Cecile Roglitz. Although her mother Cecile passed when she was a child, her Daddy met and married another sweet woman, Ina Mae, who also loved Phyllis like the angel that she was. She worked for Commercial Standard in the 1960’s as a secretary while being a single mom of three children. Phyllis then met Bart May, who also had three children – they married in September 1970. They started Bart May Real Estate together in 1971 and everyone who walked into the office knew that Phyllis had a smile and a hug for them – she also kept the ship running and the cleanest set of books ever seen. Her strong faith was the backbone of her family – Phyllis shared her love for Christ and leaves a legacy that strengthens us. She is predeceased not only by her father and mothers but also her son, Robert E. Martin, Jr. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Bart May and her children: Kathy Schwartz (Fort Worth) and David Martin (Corsicana), extra kids: Bart Alan May (Springtown), Brad May (Granbury) and Benji May (Round Rock) as well as 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and many friends who she calls family as well. Phyllis was a very special light – all who knew her were blessed.
